While playing summer baseball as a young adult in Harrisburg, PA, the beginnings of a musical artist emerged. In between the busy baseball schedule, Mark began dabbling in songwriting. Ironically, his writing began on the acoustic guitar even though he was (and is) most accomplished as a musician on piano. His first album, appropriately titled “Harrisburg” was a composition of simple, youthful, stories straight from the heart. Fast forward to the next chapter of Mark’s career and we land in Atlanta, GA where a partnership with singer/songwriter Andy Kropf emerged. Mark and Andy’s musical relationship quickly produced a large volume of original music and led to the formation of a full band, “OCEAN STREET” and their first self-titled album. OCEAN STREET music gained fast AAA radio success in many markets and has afforded Andy and Mark the opportunity to play shows across the United States, and throughout Europe. The band relocated to Nashville, TN to record with producer, Norbert Putnam. This record, titled “MUNICH RAIN”, is currently available on whichever medium you choose to find and stream your music these days! After collaborating in Nashville for a few years with some of the city’s acclaimed producers and singer/songwriters, Mark is back in Atlanta releasing his own catalog of original music with long-time friend/producer Brian Stephens at BONZO Studios.
